Pre- and postnatal classes give parents the opportunity to meet like-minded people, exchange views and discuss queries. A time where you can find out more about natural processes and changes during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
Courses can help women to gain confidence in their own, natural ability to give birth, and their birth companions to become aware of ways to make labor safer and more comfortable. The classes are interactive and provide both a physical and emotional preparation for birth. Childbirth classes give parents ideas about different techniques of relaxation, dealing with labour pain, breathing techniques, positions for birth, waterbirth and the different stages of birth itself. Postnatal exercises are for women from six weeks postpartum onwards. The classes consist of bodywork, training of the pelvic floor muscles and self realisation techniques. Nutrition classes, baby massage, lectures and courses are held by us or other health practitioners.
